The Tomato is a secret item that appears when the player reaches the Abyss without ever entering a side room or Shop; the shop that normally precedes the boss is replaced by a tomato granting +8 hp and +10 max charge.
The track Tomato Funk plays in the room (Soundtrack).
The same flag that grants the Tomato spawns a single Jellofish in the Aquifer; seeing it confirms the run still qualifies.
