The Catacombs are the second area — lined with candles, chains and cobwebs. Its main hazard is the spike trap, a discoloured platform that fires spikes shortly after you land on it; in Hard Mode every trap fires on a shared timer instead. The candles along the walls are doodads, and boxes serve as the breakable terrain.

Obake, Jumpy Skull, Wander Skull, Skeleton, Darksoul, plus Snakes (levels 1–2) and Bats.
