The Catacombs are the second area — candle-lit bonework where the walls bristle with hazards. Its signature threat is the spike trap, a discoloured platform that fires spikes shortly after you land on it; in Hard Mode every trap fires on a shared timer instead. The candles along the walls are doodads, and boxes serve as the breakable terrain.
