A spike trap is a discoloured platform in the Catacombs that fires a row of spikes shortly after being stood on, then resets. The spikes deal 1 damage.
In Hard Mode every trap in the level fires simultaneously on a fixed rhythm regardless of where you land, Static spikes also line most of the ground in Limbo.
