The Caverns are the first area of every run — three levels of dirt and torches. It has the most breakable blocks of any area, which both slows your fall and interrupts combos, and its Shop prices are the cheapest in the game (each later area adds 200G to every item).

Enemies[edit]

White Jelly, Bat, Crawler, Red Ball, Frog, Snail, Ground Turtle and Snake. Most are slow and predictable; the Bat and Red Ball pursue from above.
